Abstract

The current study aimed to explore the extent to which educational academic programs in Palestinian universities respond to the requirements of the labor market in light of digital transformation. This was achieved by examining the current state of educational academic programs in these universities, identifying the essential skills graduates need to effectively and efficiently enter the labor market, and understanding the challenges faced by Palestinian universities amid digital transformation. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach. Based on the findings, the study concluded that the alignment between the outcomes of educational programs and the requirements of the digital labor market remains limited and suffers from deficiencies. Moreover, there is a noticeable weakness in integrating digital skills and modern technologies into educational academic programs. The integration between universities and the labor market is also still weak and underdeveloped. In light of these results, the study recommended the adoption of clear and well-defined strategies to keep pace with changes in the labor market, ensuring the ability to anticipate needs in the digital era
