Abstract

The study aimed to identify the extent to which the sports system in the United Arab Emirates applies the principles of good governance in the areas of (human resources, financial management, employee evaluation, accountability practice, equality and justice, compatibility, responsiveness, transparency, participation criterion) from the point of view of workers in the sports system, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and used the questionnaire as a tool to collect information and data of the study, and the study sample consists of 83 individuals working in the UAE sports system (Authority). The study found several results, including: The extent to which the sports system in the UAE applies the principles of governance has come with an arithmetic mean (3.53) and a standard deviation (0.56) on the total degree of the areas of principles of government, which is large, and the field of financial management came in first place while the field of participation ranked last, and in light of the results, the study reached several recommendations, including:  Work to apply all the principles of the government equally to develop the work of sports institutions in all aspects
