First: The responsibilities of the researcher :-
The author should present an original research and present it accurately and objectively, in a consistent and scientific manner that matches the specifications of refereed research, whether in terms of language, form or content.
Honesty and accuracy in documenting, analyzing and publishing data and results.
Respect privacy, maintain confidentiality of information, and maintain confidentiality of the entire review process.
Research papers should be written in Arabic or English (research submitted in Arabic should be accompanied by an abstract and keywords in English), and all papers should be prepared in accordance with the journal policy.
The author cannot submit the submitted research to more than one journal or conference, and doing so is considered unethical and unacceptable behavior.
The authors are responsible for the contents of the research, which should contain new, sufficient and accurate data or results.
The names of researchers in collective research are arranged according to the percentage of participation in the research, and it is the duty of the correspondent author to ensure that all participating researchers are included, and that the names of researchers who are not participating in the research are not included.
Researchers should extend thanks and appreciation to those who contributed to the research and whose names were not mentioned among the researchers.
It is not permissible in any way to plagiarize the works of others, whether they are in the form of publications, ideas, theories, books, or otherwise.
The documentation must be accurate and the references and sources that have been referenced must be written correctly.
Authors must sign the publisher's copyright guarantee once the paper has been submitted to the journal. If the research submitted for publication in the journal is not accepted, the author(s) retain all rights.
It is not permissible for the research to misbelieve or question the facts, historical facts and rights, such as addressing or deny the right of the people in Palestine to their life and land, and their right to self-determination. It is not permissible to conduct financially or morally supported research from external parties to question these historical facts.
Any research that could cause significant pollution to the environment, water, air and soil, a written approval must be obtained from the university before conducting it.
It is not permissible to select any research that may lead to harm to religious symbols.
Any research activity aimed at revealing security, social or cultural secrets abroad (whether in the form of espionage or the like) is prohibited.
Any research that is conducted on the human body, the human mind or the human psyche must obtain an official license from the university before it can be conducted.
Constructive criticism by the arbitrators for research is accepted and work according to it before publishing the scientific research.
Second: Duties and Responsibilities of Arbitrators :-
1. The arbitrators shall abide by the time allotted for the arbitration process.
2. All research information shall be confidential to the arbitrator, and the arbitrator shall endeavor to maintain its confidentiality, and it cannot be disclosed or its content discussed with any party except those authorized by the editor-in-chief.
3. The referees evaluate the research to ensure its compliance with the requirements of the journal, the importance of the topic investigated, the methods applied, the originality, the scientific importance of the information presented in the research, the style of presentation and the scientific component.
4. The arbitrators are supposed to ensure that the research is free from plagiarism or intellectual property theft.
5. The arbitrator must refer to the paragraphs that the researcher has plagiarized, and he must attach the original reference with it.
6. The arbitrators must investigate objectivity in the judgments and results issued by the arbitration process.
7. Potential arbitrators who feel they are not qualified to arbitrate the research, or are unable to arbitrate it, must notify the editor-in-chief directly, and excuse themselves.
Third: Publisher's Responsibility :-
1. The editorial board shall follow the necessary procedures and policies to ensure the quality of the published material and to maintain the integrity of the published work.
2. In the event that the editorial board finds that the research submitted for publication is compatible with the journal’s publishing policies and the soundness of scientific research procedures, the research is sent to two specialized arbitrators, to evaluate it and write a detailed report on its scientific integrity and originality, using a specially designated form.
3. In the event of a negative report from one of the arbitrators, the paper is sent in its original copy to a third arbitrator to decide on its validity for publication.
4. The information of research authors is strictly confidential and is preserved by all persons who can view it, such as the editor-in-chief, members of the editorial board, or any member related to editing and publishing and the rest of the other trusted parties as required by the arbitration process.
5. Papers submitted to the journal are evaluated to ensure that they meet all criteria of the terms and conditions published in the journal regardless of race, gender, religious backgrounds, ethnicity, nationality and political philosophy.
6. The editors reserve the right to decide not to publish submitted research if it is found that it does not meet the criteria related to the content and official aspects.
7. Research submitted for publication in the journal is subject to specialized arbitration.
8. Al-Istiqlal University Journal for Research follows an open-access publishing policy and does not charge any fees from researchers.
