The Danger of Israeli Forced Displacement of Palestinians in Marginalized Areas in Jericho and Al-Aghwar Governorate and Its Repercussions on Their Social Life

Abstract

The study aimed to define the danger of the Israeli forced displacement in the marginalized areas and its repercussions on their social life from the viewpoint of some officials and the individuals of the society who are residing in the Bedouin gatherings, and some activists in the domain of human rights in the Jericho and Al-Aghwar governorate. This study belongs to the pattern of descriptive studies by relying on the qualitative methodology by using a non-probability sample via a case study. The number of the individuals of the sample of the study amounted to (12) researched persons.

The researcher depended on an interview guide which was prepared by him. After making sure of its validity and its reliability, an analysis of the content of the interviews was done in order to extract the results.

The results of the interviews in the light of their questions showed the existence of social, economical, health, educational, environmental and political harms for the processes of the Israeli forced displacement of the Palestinians in the marginalized areas.

The study came with a number of recommendations the most prominent of which was that the governmental and private institutions should undertake the offering of the integrated social umbrella for the individuals of the society in the marginalized areas in the Jericho and Al-Aghwar governorate.
