The concept of legitimacy and its criteria in Islamic political jurisprudence

Abstract

This research, "The Concept of Legitimacy and Its Standards", aims to explain the components and standards of legitimacy that preserve the state's stability and continuity. It also aims to explain the reason why governments seek refuge in legitimacy in the face of their opponents. And one of the results of the research was: that the political instability in the Arab world is the result of the absence of a sound political life, and among its most important recommendations: the need to give the concept of legitimacy its right to clarify and distinguish from other concepts, and to build international policies through the Islamic legal framework so that the state does not lose its identity in its course ride global.
