Scientific research enjoys the interest of developed countries for advancement in various fields of life, and this interest has shifted to developing countries in order to catch up with development and civilization. History records the leadership of Muslims in improving the conditions of education in Islamic educational institutions. Expenditure on Islamic educational institutions came from several sources: such as zakat, gifts from caliphs and princes, Islamic endowment funds... and other sources of funding and spending that the people of generosity and charity used to give out of faith. them the importance of science.

In view of the development and scientific revolution in the various fields of science that the world witnessed, the old sources of funding no longer suffice, and scientific institutions are no longer able to finance their activities, so it was necessary for these institutions to start searching for other sources of funding for scientific research in their corridors to ensure the continuity of life its scientific.

Through this study, the researcher presented number of Islamic sources that are compatible with the purposes of the Islamic religion of science through which it is possible to support scientific research in educational institutions and to ensure the continuation of the educational process towards achieving the goals of educational institutions.

These sources came in a number of forms: government support, private support from local community institutions, Islamic banks, as well as sources of self-support by educational institutions through the adoption of a number of projects through which funding sources can be provided, even at a minimum, through which continuity can be ensured. and development in the scientific research process.
