Abstract
The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a training program in preparing nursery teachers for child development and well-being. The study sample consisted of 20 nursery teachers enrolled in a specialized professional diploma program for nursery teachers in the West Bank. The researcher used a scale and a training program prepared by the researcher. The results revealed statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group members on the pre- and post-tests, favoring the post-test. The study results indicated a significant impact of the training program on the experimental group members. The study results also showed no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group members in the post- and follow-up tests. The study recommended developing the capabilities of nursery teachers in various areas related to early childhood and creating specialized courses for teachers working with children in nurseries.
