Abstract

The study aimed to identify the impact of job flexibility on the quality of work life for employees in the directorates of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in the southern West Bank. To achieve this, the descriptive-analytical approach was used by selecting a sample of (138) employees. The study revealed that the level of job flexibility and quality of work life for employees were generally moderate. It also showed a strong positive impact of job flexibility on the quality of work life for employees during the salary crisis. The study also demonstrated a significant effect of the variables of gender and income level, while there was no strong statistical effect of years of experience. The differences were in favor of males and employees with higher income levels, who had higher levels of job flexibility and quality of work life. Based on these results, the study recommended several measures, the most important of which are: improving communication channels within the directorates during the crisis, enhancing flexible and creative decision-making, establishing clear policies for flexible work, and providing incentives for employees with low income..
