The aim of the research was to identify the degree of appearance anxiety among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences "Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie as a model", in addition to identifying the differences according to the gender variable. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The study was conducted on a simple stratified random sample consisting of (81) male and female students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, representing (23.82%) of the research community. To collect data, the researcher used the appearance anxiety measurement tool designed by (Veale, et al, 2014) and consisting of ten phrases. The results of the study showed that the total degree of appearance anxiety among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences "Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie as a model" was low with an arithmetic mean of (2.09± 0.77), that there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤ 0.05) in appearance anxiety among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences "Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie as a model" attributed to the gender variable between the average male students and the average female students in favor of female students. The researcher recommends the necessity of enhancing self-confidence through workshops and training courses that focus on self-acceptance and enhancing a positive body image among students.
