The aim of the research is to determine the extent of the impact of the Corona pandemic (COVID (19) on the psychological and social aspects of the players of the Palestinian Professional Football League. The researcher used the descriptive approach in order to suit the objectives of the research. The research community consisted of (432) professional players, and the sample amounted to (210) players registered in the Palestinian Federation lists for the 2021 football season, and (48.6%) of the research community were selected randomly, and a questionnaire designed by the researcher was applied to them, consisting of (20 ) paragraph and was divided into two areas: (psychological state, social state). The results showed that the Corona pandemic (COVID 19) had a significant impact on the players of the Palestinian Professional Football League from a psychological and social perspective, as the arithmetic average reached (3.52) for the total score, and the level of impact of the Corona pandemic (COVID 19) on the areas was between medium and high. The pandemic affected the physical condition of the players to a high degree, with an arithmetic average of (3.81), and it affected the psychological state to a moderate degree, with an arithmetic average of (3.23), and its impact on the social aspect was high, with an arithmetic average of (3.53). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of club rank and players’ place of residence. The researcher recommends the necessity of formulating a new strategy for the Palestinian Football Association and the procedures followed that would mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and reviewing it periodically to deal with any emergency crisis.
