Abstract

The term Arabic (blend of Arabic and English) refers to the linguistic use that combines the Arabic language with the Latin letter. sms in the mobile phone, then it developed and was adopted in chatting through various social networking sites, and it is now seen as a manifestation of sophistication and urbanization. It represents a sum of signifiers and signifiers that were chosen pragmatically and without controls governing the development of these terms, and given the nature of the research we decided to adopt the descriptive approach, based on the two mechanisms of description and analysis to identify the linguistic problem and provide appropriate explanations and the research concluded. to a number of results, including:

·         University students with scientific majors are the most used groups for Arabic·         Arabic is a form of linguistic interference·         The relationship between the signifier and the signified in Arabic digital communication is pragmatic, and is based on a non-arbitrary relationship.·         The research came out with a number of recommendations, including: Work to educate young people about the status of the Arabic language, and support technological projects that contribute to the service of Arabic writing
