Abstract

The aim of this study was at identify The Effect of using Killer strategy In terms of information technology in Learning Basic Swimming Skills Amongst Military Sports Diploma Students at Istiqlal University – Palestine  .In order to achieve the goals of this study, the experimental approach has been applied on (n=30) Students who do not have experience in all types of swimming. In addition, the sample was divided into two equal groups, experimental and control, with (15) students per group. The experimental group had learned by using Keller strategy In terms of information technology,  and the control group had learned by using the traditional method for (12) weeks with (2) units weekly, while the time of each unit was (85) Minute. A set of basic skill tests were applied to the two groups: (self-regulation, standing in deep water, floating jellyfish, floating on the abdomen and how to stand from it, floating on the back and how to stand up from it, pushing the slip on the abdomen, pushing the slip on the back, hitting the legs from the position Horizontal buoyancy on the abdomen 25 m, feet strikes from the position of horizontal buoyancy on the back 25 m The results of the study showed that there are differences in the level of learning basic skills between the members of the experimental and control groups on the dimensional measurement and in favor of the experimental group. The researcher recommended the necessity of using modern teaching strategies to employ information and communication technology Especially in swimming courses that need to link theory and practice.
