Abstract
Training and Development Strategy and its Impact on Total Quality Management (TQM) in The Palestinian Civil Defense
Abstract:
This study aimed to know the role of the training and development strategy in achieving the principles of total quality in public sector institutions: the Palestinian Civil Defense as a model. The study sample amounted to (300) employees, and to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire tool was designed for the study, and the (Spss) program was used to enter and process data and test hypotheses. Among the most important findings of the study:
- There is great agreement on the dimensions of the training and development strategy among Palestinian civil defense employees with a relative weight of 79.9%, and also there is approval to a large degree on the dimensions of overall quality among Palestinian civil defense employees with a relative weight of 82.2%.
- There is a linear relationship between the total score of the training and development strategy scale and the total score of the total quality scale with a correlation coefficient (.768).
The study recommended: Continuity and maintenance of providing the necessary support for the implementation of the training and development strategy, intensifying the efforts made in developing training programs, promoting the use of modern methods and methods in the training process, linking incentives to the level of performance and granting incentives in a timely manner, and encouraging employees by involving them in decision-making and adopting their problems. And solve it positively.
